An Ever-Changing Oyster Portfolio


A busy owner of a brand-new oyster bar in Annapolis, MD needed help designing an oyster portfolio that would not only have a strong Chesapeake influence, but would also introduce patrons to various oysters from around the country. He also wanted a standard, lower cost oyster to attract large happy hour crowds.   


War Shore worked with the owner and chef to develop a custom program to meet their requirements. It includes a weekly rotation of 10-15 oysters selected by War Shore as well as a specially designated happy hour oyster from the Chesapeake Bay.


The restaurant is thriving and has very quickly earned a near 5-Star Google review rating. Outsourcing the oyster portfolio management has saved the chef valuable time and provided peace of mind knowing that each week their oyster bar will be fully stocked with the freshest oysters available from around the country.
